Dead Horse Ranch State Park

Located in Cottonwood, Arizona at an elevation of 3,300 feet which accounts for mild temperatures that are ideal for camping. The park is next to the Verde River in Verde Valley.

 Dead Horse Ranch State Park offers the following:

• A total of 4 ADA accessible RV accomodating campsites (1 in Quail Loop, 1 in Red-Tail Loop and 2 in Cooper’s Hawk Loop
• Blackhawk Loop is reserved exclusively for tents and has one ADA accessible site.
• Camping Cabins: One cabin (#5) is ADA accessible and near ADA accessible restrooms/showers
• All camping loops include modern ADA accessible restroom facilities providing hot water & showers free to registered campers.
• In the day use area is Canopy Trail which is ADA accessible and provides excellent bird and wildlife viewing for the mobility impaired.
